"Walleye has been my favorite specie to target since a very young age, whether its casting jigs, bobber fishing, or dragging a live bait rig, there's something about the specie that always gets me excited. Starting In the spring, you will get to see how I utilize side imaging to find pods of fish in shallow areas, often casting light jigs tipped with a shiner or fathead minnow. Early summer I will begin doing some rigging on weed lines, targeting fish slightly deeper then in the spring, using a live bait rig with a chub minnow, or jig and minnow. During the months of July and August I enjoy targeting fish off weed lines with bobbers followed by a light jig tipped with a nightcrawler or leech, this is also my favorite time to use LiveScope to pick apart fish that also may be in the weeds or just outside of them!" - Austin Hirschey
